customers in an Optus Network area. For technical and commercial reasons not all
business can be connected to Optus Directline.

Optus Directline is available to eligible small business customers as defined by Optus. The service is currently available in metropolitan areas, which include Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. However, due to commercial and technical reasons, not all premises can be connected to the service. The VoDSL service is connected to your premises with a series of installations and finally your numbers will be moved over to Optus. As such, delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed. *Line rental cost applies per line and per month and there are 2 minimum combinations of lines and broadband: 1. 6 lines at $27.50 per line, per month, with minimum total cost over one year of $2772.00 and optional broadband. 2. 4 lines at $27.50 per line, per month plus $70 for broadband (1GB plus 2GB free) with minimum total cost over one year of $2688.00. The minimum contract term is one year and early cancellation fees apply and can be calculated as: gross rate monthly service charge and number of lines x remaining months in the contract term.
1. The hardware (Integrated Access Device – IAD) included with this service is for use with the Optus VoDSL service only. It remains the property of Optus at all times and must be returned to Optus on termination or cancellation of the service. 2. You will need to connect the IAD service to your own telephony systems and computer. 3. An Acceptable Use Policy applies and a copy of this can be found as an Appendix to the Standard Form of Agreement. 4. For technical and commercial reasons, Optus reserves the right to limit uploads and downloads. 5. No further discounts are available. 6. Application for this service must be in accordance with the Optus Outbound Voice Services and Optus IP Data Services descriptions in the Standard Form of Agreement. 7. Prices, including line rental and call rates, may be varied during your connection to Optus. 8. Contract and volume discounts apply to calls only and do not include line rental.
Business Long Distance – Optus calls exclude calls made using 1456 Override, calls from mobiles, calls to MobileSat and other satellite services, Calling Card calls and Operator Services calls. Corporate and Government and some business customers, Service Providers and their customers are also excluded. It is not possible to keep existing service numbers if relocation is outside the existing exchange area. All prices quoted include GST, unless otherwise stated.
