Fixed Line VoIP - Optus ipPhone Premier

Enjoy a quality phone service with the advanced benefits of VoIP technology. If your business needs more than 2 phone lines, read on.

A summary of Optus ipPhone Premier benefits

1. High Quality Calls
Your voice calls are a quality service so your customers won’t know the difference. Plus, the data you use for calls won’t count towards your broadband usage. That means that even if your broadband is speed limited, your phone service won’t be affected*.

2. Keep Your Existing Number
Your contact details stay the same because you keep your existing number. No need to update your stationery!

3. Simple-to-Use Tools Typically Enjoyed by Big Business
Access advanced features traditionally enjoyed by large organisations such as PABX-style Call Routing, Call Logs and Call Screening. All features are easy to set up and simple to manage via a web-based interface.

4. Lower Priced Calls Monthly Access
Slash your monthly access fee to $19.95 per line (minimum 2 lines) and enjoy reduced call rates, 12c for local and national calls.

5. Secure, Private Conversations
Because your calls are kept within the Optus Network, all voice data packets are physically protected from other Internet traffic. Calls can’t be intercepted over the Internet.

6. Your Own ‘Virtual Receptionist’ With Personal Agent
When you’re online, this web-based tool lets you make and receive calls via your browser and offers a number of great call management features. Call Routing directs incoming calls according to the time of day and week, and Caller ID lets you know who’s calling. The Personal Telephone Directory handles all your contacts and lets you make calls with the click of a button, while Line Hunt means no call will go unanswered.

7. Easy Calling Directly from Your Screen
Soft Phone is an application that’s loaded onto your computer, and lets you make calls directly from your screen#. Styled like an on-screen telephone, you dial via your screen and use an IP handset or headset to talk. Call Logs keep a record of who you’ve been talking to and for how long.

8. Multimedia extras
An optional extra is the Multimedia Bolt on which allows your business to instant message and share files with colleagues and clients.

*In the event of a power failure, you will not be able to use your Optus ipPhone Premier service to make or receive calls, for example, to emergency services. It is recommended that you purchase an uninterruptible power supply if you are relying on you Optus ipPhone Premier service to make emergency phone calls. One Business DSL Direct service will support a maximum of 6 simultaneous Optus ipPhone Premier services. Attempting to have 7 or more simultaneous Optus ipPhone Premier calls over a single Business DSL Direct service would degrade the quality of all 7 calls.
#Optus Softphone is not compatible with some operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Vista and Macintosh OS operating systems.
