Business Select plans are only available to eligible, credit-approved Optus small or medium business customers as defined by Optus. Optus Pre-Paid, MobileSat, service provider customers, or corporate customers are not eligible. Business Select plans are only available for connection if you maintain a minimum of 20 or 50 services (depending on your contract) connected to a Business Select plan or an eligible plan on the same customer account number for the agreed term. If you do not maintain the minimum of 20 or 50 services (depending on your contract) required to be connected on Business Select rate plans, Optus may in its absolute discretion, transfer your services to a different rate plan. Your application is subject to an Optus credit assessment and acceptance. The Business Select plans are available on a 12 month or 24 month plan only. If you have committed to a Business Select Plan with a 12 month term, the minimum total cost is $240 for the Business Select 20, $360 for the Business Select 30, $600 for the Business Select 50, $840 for the Business Select 70 and $1,200 for the Business Select 100. If you have committed to a Business Select Plan with a 24 month term, the minimum total cost is $480 for the Business Select 20, $720 for the Business Select 30, $1,200 for the Business Select 50, $1,680 for the Business Select 70 and $2,400 for the Business Select 100. If you choose a 12 or 24 Month plan, and you cancel your Optus Mobile Service or it is disconnected for any reason, or you switch carriers within your minimum term (“Termination”) you will be required to pay the applicable Termination Fee. The Termination Fee is calculated in accordance to the following: for months 1-12 of a 24 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $278 for the Business Select 20, $340 for the Business Select 30, $557 for the Business Select 50, $741 for the Business Select 70 and $905 for the Business Select 100. For months 13-15, 80% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 16-18, 60% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 19-21, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 22-24, 20% of the Initial Termination Fee. For months 1-6 of a 12 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $208 for the Business Select 20, $242 for the Business Select 30, $386 for the Business Select 50, $458 for the Business Select 70 and $554 for the Business Select 100. For months 7-9, 70% of the Initial Termination Fee; for months 10-12, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee. On the Business Select plans you will pay the minimum monthly fee worth of standard national voice and video calls, standard national SMS and MMS , VoiceMail, PTT, national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers each billing period. You will pay the minimum monthly fee per month even if you do not make the minimum monthly fee worth of calls after which standard rates of your plan will apply. For the part month, you will pay only part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only part of the included value.
FleetShare:1. Available to Small Business customers only. 2. Shares the minimum monthly spend among the GSM Mobile plans on the same customer account number. 3. Excludes all Pre-Paid plans, Cap plans, Data Plans, Optus Wireless Connect plans, Optus Wireless Broadband plans and BlackBerry plans. 4. Only plans with a minimum monthly spend are eligible.
SmartFleet: 1. Applies to standard national calls and standard national SMS and MMS made and received within Australia to another GSM Mobile service on the same customer account number, no flagfall applies. 2. Some exclusions apply, including Video and International calls, International, Premium and Third Party SMS and MMS. 3. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies for SmartFleet usage of up to 1,000 minutes per month.
Technology Fund: 1. The technology fund is a special offer available to customers who are eligible for and connect to a Business Select plan. It allows you to purchase mobile phones and accessories from Optus and it can not be used for any other purpose other than the purchase of mobile handsets and accessories. 2. The a mount of the fund will be dependent on the number of phones you connect to Business Select plans and the contract length. Customers connecting on a 24 month term will be entitled to $120 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 20, $160 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 30, $290 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 50, $415 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 70, $515 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 100. Customers connecting on a 12 month term will be entitled to $64 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 20, $84 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 30, $148 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 50, $184 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 70, $228 of Technology Fund on the Business Select 100. 3. You may use the Technology Fund credited to your account to purchase products listed in the Optus Business unsubsidised price list as amended by Optus from time to time. This list is available to you upon request. 4. If the purchase price for products that you order is greater than the Technology Fund credit remaining in your account, you must pay any difference for those products. 5. The value of the Technology Fund is not redeemable for cash and may not be transferred or used for any other purposes (for instance, it may not be used to pay for service charges, minimum monthly call spend or call costs, cannot be used against cancellation fees). If your account is cancelled for any reason any unused credit will be forfeited.
International SMS: Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not. International SMS are charged at 50¢ per message.
Text Message (SMS): Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not.
Photo Message (MMS): International MMS is charged at 75¢ per message sent, per recipient. 2. Optus Email MMS is charged at 25¢ per message sent (one message can be sent to multiple recipients.) 3. Charges apply regardless of successful delivery or not 4. The recipient will need to have an MMS compatible mobile phone and service to receive this message. If they do not have an MMS compatible handset, they will be unable to receive MMS . You will still be charged for sending an MMS.
Optus Push to Talk (PTT): 1. To use PTT you must have an Optus compatible handset with the PTT service. 2. The PTT service is only available for use between customers on the Optus GSM network. 3. Message delivery success, message delivery time and call initiation time may be variable. 4. You will incur the daily fee in any 24 hour period, from 3.00am Sydney EST, that you initiate a PTT call on the service. You will be charged $0.95 per day. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies up to 150 minutes per month.
Optus Dual Band service: Refers to our 2100MHz/900MHz Network. Optus dual band handset/device can provide access to 3G services in the Optus dual band coverage area. Optus 3G Services: Refers to our 2100MHz network. Optus 3G handset/device can provide access to 3G services only in the Optus 3G coverage area. Outside these areas, service will fall back to our Optus GSM/GPRS network. For full coverage information, go to optus.com.au/coverage Optus Zoo & MyZooNow: Optus Zoo activation time may take up to 24 hours. Optus will endeavour to provide current, accurate information but makes no guarantee regarding the timely delivery, currency, or accuracy of any information provided to you as part of the Optus Zoo Update service. Content may be suspended, changed, or terminated without notice. Optus is not responsible for third party content, and sites may be subject to change. Additional charges may apply to access and subscription to third party content. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G or dual band and may not include all content and features of Internet websites.
Mobile IM: Customers will need to sign up and receive user credentials from MSN Messenger and/or Yahoo! Messenger on the Internet. Compatible handsets only. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies on the pay as you go rate, up to 1MB per day, on the monthly option up to 10MB per month.
TrueLocal: Only available on X HTML supported handsets. Standard browsing and downloading charges will apply to access the service. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G or dual band and may not include all content and features of Internet websites. When using TrueLocal your location is automatically accessed to allow provision of correct service information while you are using the service. Should you click on a banner advertisement; a response will be sent to you on an opt-in basis.
Changing Rate Plans: After the first 6 months of your contract, once a month you may change to another Optus Mobile Rate Plan with a lower monthly access fee at Optus’ discretion for the remaining term of your contract. We may charge you a fee if you move from one pricing plan to another before the end of your minimum term. The amount of the fee will depend on various factors, including the terms of your current pricing plan, your call spend under your current pricing plan and the terms of the new pricing plan you are moving to. You should contact customer service for further information on the fee that may apply in your case. If you select a new rate plan/ plan option any calls made from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new plan /plan option.
Change of ownership: Is permitted during the contract period providing the new applicant meets Optus credit assessment criteria and both the current and new owner agree to the conditions on the Optus Change of Ownership form. Customers changing account ownership will not be eligible for Plan Scan. Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time.
