BUSINESS WIRELESS TELEPHONE
1.Optus Wireless Telephone (OWT)
means that you can make and receive calls via a wireless connection over our
mobile GSM network from a standard telephone connected to the Optus Voice Box
(Voice Box) located at your premises. For commercial and technical reasons, not
all businesses can be connected to or utilise the Optus Wireless Telephone.
This service is provided to you by Optus Networks Pty Limited (ABN 92 008 570
330). 2.It is available to you if you are a small or medium
(SMB) customer who is credit approved by Optus for a minimum agreement term as
set out in your plan details. 3.Optus is the sole long
distance service provider for your OWT service. 4.Your local
call plan applies to each service listed on your account and is charged on a
per service number basis. * Calls to 1300/13 numbers are charged at $0.275/
call unless listed in the Special Numbers List. 5.If you are
selecting a new local call plan, the bill cycle of your local call service will
determine the effective date of the new pricing plan. Until your new local call
plan is successfully activated, your service will continue to be rated as per
your current plan. A fee may apply if you change your plan before the end of
your minimum term. 6.Fees apply if paying by credit, charge or
debit card or receiving paper bill. 7.Some features, services
and telephone numbers are able to be transferred however there may be some
exceptions. 8.The Optus Wireless Telephone Standard Form of
Agreement, and Optus Local and Long Distance Fair Go TM Policy applies. See www.optus.com.au/sfoa for details.
Call cap for calls to Optus GSM mobiles: Calls are charged by
the second, plus a call connection fee, until you reach the call cap. The cap
is the maximum you will pay for a call up to 10 minutes. If you hang up before
your call reaches the cap, you will only pay for the time you have used (plus
the 28c connection for the Business Wireless plans). If your call exceeds the
cap call length of 10 minutes, you will be charged the call cap plus the rate
per minute from that time. This excludes calls to MobileSat and other satellite
services and Operator Services calls. Local and Long Distance 12 month
agreement: A $65 tiered cancellation fee applies if you cancel your
service within the initial 12 month agreement period (other than during the
‘yes’ Coverage Commitment period of 7 days). Your service start date commences
with the activation of the Optus SIM card. Optus Wireless Telephone
service: 1.Within 24 hours of activation of the SIM card, you will be
issued with a trial local telephone number. You may wish to retain the trial
local telephone number, or, if you have an existing local telephone number, you
will be able to apply to transfer this number to Optus after the ‘yes’ Coverage
Commitment period of 7 days has expired, at which time we will cancel your
trial number. This is important so you don't continue to pay for two services.
2.A new number fee may apply if your existing phone number is
unable to be transferred to Optus or you choose to retain the trial local
telephone number. 3.The service is not available at all
locations or at all types of premises and is not compatible with Broadband or
Dial Up Internet. 4.Some phone features may not be available,
including complex services such as call routing. It also does not support fax
or multiple handsets on one device and will not operate on any existing wall
phone sockets. 5.Please note that when making an outbound
call, you may experience a delay before you hear the dial tone. Due to network
constraints, calls made using this service will be terminated after 90 minutes
of a continuous call. You may call the number again immediately, but will be
charged again for the cost of the call. 6.You may only access
the service using the Optus Wireless InZone device or Optus Wireless Voice Box
that has been provided to you by Optus and telephone equipment such as handsets
approved by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). The
service is not compatible with decadic (pulse) dialling telephones and systems
(eg rotary dial phones). 7.Optus supplied Voice Box remains
our property and is to be returned to Optus upon request within 14 days,
otherwise replacement charges may apply. 8.The Service may not
be suitable for you if: you require disability services or have a serious
illness or life threatening condition, you have a back to base home alarm
system; or you require an uninterrupted telephone line. 9.The
Optus Special Assistance Service (OSAS), Medic Alert and TTY services are not
available with the Service. 10.The ACMA Customer Service
Guarantee does not apply to the Service. 11.You must not move
the device to another service address without notifying Optus.
12.If you use the Optus SIM card in another mobile device such
as a mobile handset or if you move the Service to another address without
notifying Optus, the ‘yes’ Coverage Commitment will not apply. Optus reserves
the right to suspend or cancel the service to prevent outbound and inbound
calls (excluding emergency services) without notice and charge a cancellation
fee; or Optus has the right to charge higher monthly access fee or call
rates.
